I’ve recently finished my degree in Fine & Applied Art, specializing in textile art. I use stitch as a means of drawing and combine time honoured sewing techniques with a quirky subject matter. I would describe my work as untraditional embroidery. I make small hand stitched pieces inspired by and imbued with snippets of overheard conversation, expressions and idioms which have been taken out of context and formed into personal jokes.
